Summary: Donor gave a carriage step belonging to Bruno Carl Reich. The carriage step originally sat at Reich's Bakery at 1013-15 East 1st Street. Bruno Carl Reich and his wife, Sophie Krauter Reich, built their home at 1206 Mistletoe Drive in 1918. Reich continued to operate Reich Bakery with the help of his son, Bruno Carl Reich, Jr. After the death of Bruno Carl Reich in 1937, the carriage step was moved to the home at Mistletoe Drive. Bruno C. Reich, Jr., continued to operate Reich Bakery until it was sold in the late 1940s. In 1988, the carriage step was moved to the donor's home where it remained until 2013.
