Walsh Ranch

Summary: Donor gave projected plan for a more than 7,275 acre ranch on western boundary of Tarrant County and eastern Parker County. Properties were assembled from early pioneer ranches in both counties by the F. Howard Walsh family of Fort Worth beginning in the 1940s. The donated plan was part of a proposal by Walsh Companies to work with the Planning Department of the City of Fort Worth. It was approved by the Fort Worth City Council on April 29, 2003. The City agreed to a gradual annexation of the properties described in this plan, providing fire and police protection and infrastructure (water and sewer lines). A full PDF version of the plan is available by clicking on the link below.
