The Dallas/Fort Worth Minority Business Development Council, Inc., (D/FWMBDC) is a nonprofit organization committed to fostering a business environment which promotes access and opportunity for minority-owned businesses. As a membership organization, D/FW MBDC provides networking opportunities that match member purchasing needs to qualified minority suppliers.
 
 
The Fort Worth Bureau serves over 1.7 million people in eight counties. They have not charged for inquiries or complaints since 1936.
 
 
The Fort Worth Business Assistance Center (BAC) opened its doors in 1995. Comprised of 13 service providers, the BAC provides: free start-up counseling, assistance with your business plan, free or low-cost workshops on taxes, SBA loans, legal issues and more, ongoing counseling and support for small business and SBA 504 and other loan assistance. The BAC also boasts a Business Information Center (BIC). The BIC has a well-stocked library of small business guides and reference materials for just about every area of small business.
 
 
The Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) is a nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small business nationwide. SCORE is a resource partner with the US Small Business Administration [SBA].
