About the Tarrant County Commissioners Court

The Commissioners Court is the general governing body of Tarrant County. The Court is made up of the County Judge who is elected countywide and presides over the full Court, and the four County Commissioners -- each elected from one of the County's four precincts. 

The Tarrant County Commissioners Court convenes monthly, generally on the second Tuesday. Additional meetings may be scheduled as needed. A calendar of upcoming meetings is available on the County’s official website.

Commissioners Court agendas, minutes, and videos dating back to December 28, 2006, are available for viewing and download. Live sessions of Commissioners Court are streamed on the County’s YouTube Channel, where recorded videos are also posted. Typically, meeting videos are available for viewing within one day after the session concludes.

Members of the public may register to speak or submit written comments on Commissioners Court agenda items. Instructions for providing public comments, including how to submit them, are available on the County’s website.
