Apply to Mediate with Dispute Resolution

If you would like to join Tarrant County Dispute Resolution as a mediator, please complete our Mediator Application below. After submitting your application, email copies of all mediation training certificates to dr@tarrantcountytx.gov  This includes your Basic, Family, CPS, or any other mediation certification you have earned.

Once we have received your application and documentation, we will review your qualifications and contact you regarding available mediation opportunities.

Mediator Qualifications 

The Dispute Resolution Center accepts only qualified mediators who have completed training in accordance with Texas Civil Practice & Remedies Code, Sec. 154.052, meeting or exceeding the standards established by the Texas Mediation Trainers Roundtable or Texas Mediators Credential Association.

Additionally, mediators who wish to handle family law cases must complete the required family mediation training as outlined in Texas Civil Practice & Remedies Code, Sec. 154.052 and be a practicing Texas family law attorney to mediate divorce cases for Dispute Resolution.
