On July 14, 2026, the Tarrant County Commissioner's Court approved the Engineering Services Department implementing and increasing fees pertaining to development plan reviews, platting, inspections, and permits. Under Court Order 147297, all fees outlined below will be effective beginning October 1, 2026.

Development Fees

Service Type: Engineering Plan Review, Flood Study Review, Infrastructure Development Plan (Manufactured Housing Rental Community) Fee: $67.00 As Needed: $17.00 for each additional review in excess of two

 

Platting Fees

Service Type: Platting; 1-5 lots Fee: $134.00 As Needed: $9.00 per lot Service Type: Platting; 6-15 lots Fee: $200.00 As Needed: $9.00 per lot Service Type: Platting; 16+ lots Fee: $267.00 As Needed: $9.00 per lot Service Type: Revision of Plat Fee: $67.00 As Needed: $9.00 per lot Service Type: Review Fee for Plat resubmittal Fee: $34.00 Needed: Per submittal in excess of two

 

Inspection Fees

Service Type: Construction Inspection Fee: $17.00 As Needed: $1.00 per linear foot Service Type: Roadways Fee: $17.00 As Needed: $1.00 per linear foot

 

On-Site Sewage Facitity (OSSF)

Service Type: Residential OSSF System (regardless of system type) Fee: $277.00 As Needed: Not Applicable Service Type: Non-Residential OSSF System - Conventional System Fee: $277.00 As Needed: Not Applicable Service Type: Non-Residential OSSF System - Aerobic System Fee: $285.00 As Needed: Not Applicable Service Type: Repair & Remodel Fee: $117.00 As Needed: Not Applicable Service Type: Re-Inspections Fee: $92.00 As Needed: Not Applicable
