TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS - Deadline for Payment Plan Applications Approaches Tarrant County Tax Assessor-Collector Rick Barnes is urging property owners who have fallen behind on their homestead property taxes to contact the Tarrant County Tax Office as soon as possible. With the June 30, 2025, deadline approaching, there may be options available to help eligible taxpayers avoid further costly legal action through a payment plan. “We know that many families are struggling right now,” said Barnes. “If you need more time to pay your property taxes, don’t wait – reach out to our office. You may be eligible for an installment agreement. Contact us now to discuss your options and help get you back on track.”
Installment Payment Plans
The Tarrant County Tax Office can help delinquent taxpayers determine if they qualify for installment payment plans in accordance with State laws. These plans allow eligible property owners to make structured payments on the total amount owed, helping prevent further costly legal action.
