Community Engagement

Tarrant County Emergency Management participates in a variety of community outreach activities to help strengthen local preparedness. Our team attends community events such as health fairs and public safety gatherings, where we can host an informational table and share emergency readiness materials with attendees. We also offer emergency preparedness presentations covering topics like building an emergency kit, understanding hazards specific to our region, and practical steps households can take to stay safe during disasters. While we make every effort to support community requests, participation and scheduling are based on staff availability. We encourage organizations to email us with the completed speaker request form, and we will accommodate whenever possible.
