Tarrant County Public Health Reports Eight COVID-19 Deaths

Dec. 20, 2021 - (Tarrant County) - Tarrant County Public Health (TCPH) today reports eight COVID-19 deaths. The deceased include a man from Benbrook in his 80s, a man from Crowley in his 80s, a man from Arlington in his 70s, a woman from unincorporated Tarrant County in her 70s, a man from Fort Worth in his 70s, a man from Azle in his 70s, a man from Arlington in his 60s, and a male from Fort Worth under 20. All but one had underlying health conditions.

Tarrant County now has 4,980 confirmed deaths from the COVID-19 virus and 366,096 people have recovered.

COVID-19 causes respiratory illness with cough, fever and shortness of breath and may lead to bronchitis and severe pneumonia.
