Archives
Our mission is to collect, preserve, and provide access to
materials that serve as a record of Tarrant County history.
These include documents, photographs, scrapbooks,
land records, and so much more. We house more than 600
collections in a 10,000 square foot facility located on the
fifth floor of Tarrant County Plaza Building.
The Tarrant County Archives will be open to walk-in researchers Tuesdays through Fridays from 9a.m. - 4:30p.m.
Appointments are required on Mondays.
Please call us at 817-884-3272 or email us at archives@tarrantcountytx.gov so we can discuss your research needs and schedule an appointment.
