Outreach

Tarrant County Office of Historic Preservation and Archives is an essential part of our local community. Not only do the staff regularly addresses Tarrant County groups interested in preserving local history, the Archives Officer is also available to advise local historical groups, museums, businesses, non-profits, and individuals in Tarrant County on how to best preserve their past. To arrange a talk or meeting, please email archives@tarrantcountytx.gov.

The Archives also offers opportunities for those interested in the archives profession to gain hands on experience through internships an volunteer positions. Devoted members of the community can perform activities ranging from transcription of diaries to sorting newspaper clippings for our subject and biographical files.
