Court Room Rules and Expectations
This is a Courthouse with Courts conducting business. There may be trials in progress, so these rules are required to be followed.
Failure to follow these rules will result in being escorted out of the building.
- While you are waiting to be called by the bailiff, please keep conversations quiet. No loud talking or horse play.
- No loud outbursts.
- No yelling, whistling, screaming or chanting.
- For the safety of children, please keep them under control. No running or loud playing. The railings along the stairwells have large openings and a small child allowed to play near them may fall.
- During and after the ceremony, please be mindful that there are other Courts in Session. Please do not make any unnecessary noise until you are out of the building.
