Tarrant County Public Health Reports Eight COVID-19 Deaths

Sept. 8, 2021 - (Tarrant County) - Tarrant County Public Health (TCPH) today reports eight COVID-19 deaths as well as 4,920 new cases after the three-day Memorial Day weekend. The deceased include a woman from Haltom City in her 80s, a woman from White Settlement in her 80s, a man from Fort Worth in his 80s, a man from Lakeside in his 70s, a woman from Bedford in her 60s, a man from Fort Worth in his 50s, a man from Azle in his 30s, and a man from Fort Worth in his 30s. All but one had underlying health conditions.

Tarrant County now has 3,942 confirmed deaths from the COVID-19 virus and 284,442 people have recovered.
