The Tarrant County Fire Marshal’s Office conducts fire and life safety inspections on all fireworks stands and stores in the unincorporated areas of Tarrant County. Additionally, any fireworks display and show launch sites must also be inspected. All outdoor stands, indoor stores/stands, and all fireworks displays/shows are required to have a Tarrant County Fire Marshal's Office permit. Complete the fireworks permit application and forward to our office with the appropriate documentation and fee.

It is the responsibility of the fireworks retailer to comply with the Fireworks rules.
For those citizens wishing to ignite their own fireworks, it is important to remember that the only place to ignite fireworks in the unincorporated areas of Tarrant County is if you own the property or you receive permission from a property owner allowing you to ignite fireworks. Consumers should be aware of the penalties associated with illegal igniting or shooting of fireworks.
