What form of payment do you accept?

Cash (exact amount only), credit card or debit card (adds a convenience fee and you must provide a valid ID that displays the same individual's name as the credit/debit card), money order, cashier's check and personal checks. For more information, please visit Justice Court 2 fees.

Does Justice Court 2 perform weddings away from the courthouse, after hours or weekends?

Do you close for lunch?

Yes, Justice Court 2 closes for lunch Monday - Friday from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.. However, on occasion, it is possible that we will close from 11:30 am to 1 pm.

Are the forms online?

Where do I file evictions?

Evictions must be filed in the precinct in which the property is located.

 Where do I go to file a restraining order?

Justice Courts do not have jurisdiction. Please call 817-884-1265 for information regarding restraining orders.

How do I find out if I have a ticket in Tarrant County?

Justice Court 2 houses tickets issued by DPS, Constable, Sheriff and Parks and Wildlife.

Can I receive legal advice from the Justice Court?

No. For legal assistance, please contact your personal attorney, or contact Legal Aid of North West Texas at 817-336-3943. It is illegal for Tarrant County employees to give legal advice or opinions.
