April 29, 2020 (Tarrant County, TX) -Tarrant County Public Health (TCPH) today reported three COVID-19 deaths.
The deceased include a woman in her 90s and a woman in her 30s, both from Fort Worth, and a woman in her 70s from Grapevine. All had underlying health conditions. Tarrant County now has 61 confirmed deaths from the COVID-19 virus. 387 people have recovered.
“These deaths are grim reminders of the seriousness of this pandemic,” said Tarrant County Public Health Director Vinny Taneja. “Our sympathy goes out to their families.” Although the county stay-at-home order expires Friday, he urged everyone to continue to stay home as much as possible and to follow these Public Health guidelines:
COVID-19 causes a respiratory illness with cough, fever and shortness of breath and may lead to bronchitis and severe pneumonia.
