May 2, 2020 (Tarrant County, TX) -Tarrant County Public Health (TCPH) today reported two COVID-19 deaths.
The deceased include a man in his 50s from Keller and a man in his 60s from Fort Worth. Both had underlying health conditions. Tarrant County now has 71 confirmed deaths from the COVID-19 virus. 583 people have recovered.
“Our condolences go out to the families,” said Tarrant County Health Director Vinny Taneja. Although stay-at-home requirements have been allowed to expire, he encouraged residents to continue to stay home as much as possible and follow the Public Health guidelines:
COVID-19 causes a respiratory illness with cough, fever and shortness of breath and may lead to bronchitis and severe pneumonia.
