Biographical Note

Jim Pitts served in the United States Air Force, and was stationed in various countries throughout his service. He and wife Georgia Ann Wilson Pitts and their children lived in France and Australia for a time before settling in Fort Worth in the 1960s.

Jim Pitts conducted historical research on various topics related to Fort Worth. The materials in this collection consist of materials collection during that research.
