City of Fort Worth Aviation Department Collection
Historical Note
The Fort Worth Aviation Department housed a large collection of archival and exhibit materials related to aviation history, and included three personal collections from Henry Newman, Paul Hill, and Colonel Frank O'Brien. In 2014 the City of Fort Worth needed to move these materials during a major renovation of the Meacham Airport Main Administration Building. At this time, the City of Fort Worth chose to donate the collection to the Tarrant County Archives.
