Summary: The Nikki Grote Collection contains digital images from two scrapbooks and a book. The scrapbooks contain images of the Fort Worth Stock Show and the donor's relatives, M.E. Grote and Oliver Grote, who raised cattle and won various awards for them at the Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show and other competitions. The collection consists of photographs, 4-H Club records and articles cut from Fort Worth, San Angelo and Mason, Texas, newspapers. All items date from the late 1930s and 1940s. Newspaper clippings include adds for "Grand Champion" meat sold in Fort Worth markets.
