Summary: Alice Marie Lewis was a life-long resident of north Fort Worth and member of the Tarrant County Historical Commission. She discovered and helped preserve the first public building in north Fort Worth, the 1870s Marine Schoolhouse, which became a part of Log Cabin Village in 2003. Her collection reflects the history of north Fort Worth in photographs, maps, books, programs, obituaries and newspaper clippings.
