Historical Note

The Tarrant County Auditor's Office serves as a check on the financial operations of all county offices and is charged with administering the county budget.  In 2000 and 2020, the Tarrant County Auditor's Office donated a large selection of past annual reports, budgets and other documents related to the county's finances.

Scope and Content

The Tarrant County Auditor Collection consists of many annual financial reports, audit documents, ledgers, and documents on microfilm. Materials in this collection date from 1911 to 1990.

Materials with Personally Identifiable Information (PII), like payroll records, have restricted access. Those restricted items are noted in the below list of collection items.
