Joseph Weisberg Collection
BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE
Joseph Weisberg was a journalist and photographer in Fort Worth, Texas. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Weisberg moved to Fort Worth to attend Texas Christian University. In 1941, he enlisted in the U. S. Army Air Corps. Weisberg worked in marketing and advertising in the years after the war until his retirement in 1973. During his retirement he focused on photojournalism. Most of his work centered around aviation history, but he also documented people and places across Texas, including the Fort Worth Stockyards and the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.
