To become a credentialed mediator, you must first successfully complete the 40-hour Basic Mediation Training through a trainer approved by the Texas Mediation Trainers Roundtable.

To become a credentialed family mediator, you must also have the 30-hour Advanced Family Mediation Training through a trainer approved by the Texas Mediation Trainers Roundtable.

There are numerous opportunities through individual trainers and other Dispute Resolution Centers throughout Texas. You can find approved trainers at the Texas Mediation Trainers Roundtable.

DRP periodically provides trainings to qualified individuals throughout the year.  If you would like to be considered to attend a training sponsored by DRP, please complete the training application to be added to the wait list.

Completing the form does not guarantee a spot nor does it guarantee that a training will be available.
