Fort Worth Genealogical Society Collection

Summary: The Fort Worth Genealogical Society is a non-profit, educational corporation founded in 1957. Their mission is to encourage the study of genealogy and to assist the public in researching genealogy in Tarrant County. They operate in partnership with the Genealogy and Local History Department of the Fort Worth Library and publish a quarterly newsletter, Footprints. The Fort Worth Genealogical Society donated to the Archives copies of Footprints, books related to genealogical research and pedigree charts.
