Birdville Baptist Church

Summary: The Birdville Baptist Church, which as a practicing congregation is more than 150 years old, is located in Haltom City, Texas. This collection consists of books, photographs and church records. These items were brought to the Archives by Betty Porter, who served as director of women's ministry and coordinator for the 150th celebration for the church. Porter has since founded the Birdville Museum, which serves as another repository of local and church history.  The Birdville Museum is located in the Shannon Learning Center at 6030 Walker Street, Haltom City, Texas 76117. Phone is 817-547-5498. Museum is open Tuesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
