Tarrant County Historical Commission Collection

The Tarrant County Historical Commission (TCHC) is a volunteer organization with members appointed by the Tarrant County Commissioners’ Court for the objective of "initiating and conducting programs for the preservation of the historical heritage of the county." The collection includes items donated to the TCHC as well as artifacts purchased by the committee. The collection also contains research files assembled by members and items related to the TCHC's work. Some of the items collected by members the Tarrant County Historical Commission did not include a record of individual donor names. This inventory contains the following categories: Maps, Books, Subject Files, Photographs, Microfilm, Newspapers, Magazines, Media and Research Files.
